Our commitments

A cellar committed to the environment

The turning point of organic

In order to meet market demands, the cellar of the Vignerons de Florensac undertook the shift to organic three years ago. Today, 50 hectares of vineyards are in conversion, which represents more than 10% of our production.

This may seem insignificant, but it is important to know that the majority of our winemakers have chosen to convert a few plots in order to learn and deepen the process. This is therefore a genuine group commitment, which should lead to a more extensive conversion in a few years.

Nous avons en outre, le projet de convertir tous les ans un cépage différent, ce qui nous permettra d’avoir des volumes plus significatifs. Les parcelles de sauvignon seront les premières à entrer en conversion.

Our Vineyard

Rich in ancestral know-how, the Vignerons de Florensac work daily to highlight each grape variety and each cuvée, while respecting nature and the terroir.

As a leader in environmentally friendly agricultural practices, we have decided to turn to renewable energy through the production of electricity within the cooperative cellar, thus generating 45% of its energy.

Furthermore, the vineyard is evolving within a strong ecological cultural approach, which involves agronomic monitoring with an agronomist and a reasoned cultivation method such as sexual confusion on 70% of the vineyard or inter-row weeding for 20% of our area, which represents a total of 42 hectares.

The Vinification

The winery is heavily involved in its agricultural choices and practices mechanical harvesting that it manages 100%.

The majority of the production is made in stainless steel tanks, although some batches have been aged in barrels.

Our cellar is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment such as pneumatic presses, an inert gas wine protection system, and temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks that produce high-quality wines.
